A Message from the CPCC Chairman, Alfonso Pantoja, MD....
Our goal for the next two years is the development of a collaborative network of public and private, Obstetric and Neonatal providers, insurers, public health professionals and business groups to support a system forperformance improvement and benchmarking activitiesfor perinatal care throughout Colorado. We elected to work on four of the five initiatives for perinatal care that the Joint Commission has proposed for Perinatal Care for 2010. We believe that we can accelerate improvement if we implement effectively evidence-based potential better practices and at the same time, the council provides a safe forum to share our learnings and stories.
